Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Release Manager to join a leading Canadian banking client on a 12-month contract. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release management lifecycle, with a focus on implementation, coordination, and execution of releases.
The ideal candidate will work closely with both technical and business teams to coordinate deployments, track dependencies, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery across multiple projects. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as the candidate will be responsible for running meetings, presenting updates, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
End-to-end release management (planning, coordination, implementation)
• Strong stakeholder coordination across multiple project teams and dependencies
• Experience running releases with multiple overlapping projects/products
• Ability to manage cross-functional communication and validation processes
• Support full lifecycle release management (planning, delivery, implementation), though
initially will focus more on implementation/production release execution
• A technical mindset/background to understand architecture, layers, and impact of changes
across systems
RELATIONSHIP M
REQUIREMENT INTAKE
• Strong understanding of software/product environments (no coding required)
• Ability to understand system layers, dependencies, and challenge technical teams when
needed
• Experience working closely with developers/tech teams in release environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Background in technical roles transitioning into coordination/release roles
• Experience in product-based environments with complex dependencies
• Ability to operate across both implementation and planning sides of releases
