Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Consultant to support an Application Security group at a major bank with gathering requirements from multiple projects/teams, reporting on findings, and ways to improve efficiencies/ report on project status, updates, and timelines. An example of what this consultant would be reporting on how applications are being onboarded to a security platform.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-10 years of experience working as a BA, PM, or Business Consultant and a recent 2+ year focus of project work within Application Security projects
- Experience working at a major north American Bank
• Application Security & Operational Awareness: Understanding of application security practices, tools, onboarding processes, and coverage requirements across the application lifecycle.
- Understanding of Application Security processes and tests such as SAST/DAST, and vulnerability patch management
- Ability to report on project status, updates, and timelines
• Reporting, Data Analysis & Metrics Development: Ability to aggregate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to develop meaningful metrics, insights, and reporting outputs for stakeholders.
• Vulnerability Management & Remediation Tracking: Experience tracking vulnerability findings, interpreting tool outputs, and coordinating with development teams to drive timely remediation
• Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Strong organizational and follow-up skills to track progress across multiple teams and applications, and ensure timely completion of onboarding and remediation activities
• Governance & Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify process gaps, standardize workflows, and contribute to the development of governance frameworks and operational improvements
• Automation & Technical Proficiency: Experience leveraging tools (e.g., Excel, reporting platforms) to automate reporting, improve data quality, and streamline operational processes
• Communication & Executive Reporting: Ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights and produce concise presentations and materials for technical teams and senior leadership
