Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Retail Digital Media Account Manager to support a leading enterprise retail client’s in-house media and marketing function for a 20-month contract. This role sits at the intersection of digital media, vendor partnerships, and retail strategy, supporting high-priority product categories such as tools and seasonal outdoor products.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role best suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing multiple stakeholders, and brings a strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and performance.

You will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of vendor partners, helping them plan, launch, and optimize digital media campaigns while uncovering opportunities to grow their investment.


Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Portfolio Management
• Manage a portfolio of ~25–30 vendor partners, acting as the primary day-to-day contact
• Build strong relationships and maintain ongoing communication regarding campaign performance and opportunities
• Identify and drive incremental growth opportunities within existing accounts

Campaign Strategy & Execution
• Partner with vendors to develop and execute digital media campaigns aligned to business goals
• Ensure campaigns are set up for success, including reviewing creative, messaging, and channel strategy
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to optimize results
• Coordinate cross-functionally with production, media, and analytics teams to ensure timely execution

Pre-Sales & Growth Enablement
• Lead early-stage conversations with vendors to uncover marketing goals and opportunities
• Support sales efforts by gathering inputs and shaping campaign recommendations
• Contribute to forecasting and portfolio growth planning

Post-Sales Optimization
• Track in-market campaign performance and identify upsell opportunities
• Lead performance discussions and contribute to post-campaign reporting and insights
• Partner with analytics teams for post-mortem reviews and future planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with internal merchant and marketing teams to align on priorities and upcoming initiatives
• Ensure stakeholders are informed on campaign activity and strategic direction
Operations & Process
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and internal tracking systems
• Support ongoing refinement and scalability of media offerings

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, media, or advertising (agency, publisher, retail media, or similar)
• Strong understanding of digital media channels, including:
o Google Ads / Display Network
o Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
• Experience managing multiple accounts, campaigns, or stakeholders simultaneously
• Proven ability to communicate with external partners and influence outcomes
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in retail media, eCommerce marketing, or vendor-funded media programs
• Exposure to media planning, buying, or campaign execution
• Experience supporting or participating in media negotiations or budget discussions
• Background in sales, account management, or consultative client-facing roles
