Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of Canadians biggest cooperation of Gaming & Gambling / Entertainment sector. This person will who brings a blend of exceptional communication, enthusiasm, strong technical capability, and a mindset that goes beyond the traditional 9–5. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our testing culture, driving automation strategy, exploring new tools and frameworks, and ensuring our digital products are delivered with excellence.
What You’ll Do
Quality Leadership & Mindset
• Champion a quality-first culture, ensuring teams see QA as a strategic partner, not a last step.
• Communicate risks, results, and opportunities clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bring positivity, ownership, and a solution oriented attitude to complex challenges.
Test Strategy & Execution
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies across:
o Web platforms
o Mobile apps
o APIs
o Integrations and backend services
• Conduct both structured and exploratory testing using advanced heuristics and charters.
• Review requirements, designs, and user flows to identify gaps early.
Automation Engineering
• Build and maintain automated test suites using:
o Python
o Java
o JavaScript
o Playwright (Microsoft)
o Selenium WebDriver
• Partner with development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Continuous Innovation
• Stay current on new testing tools, frameworks, and trends.
• Proactively bring forward suggestions for improvements in QA processes, automation, tooling, and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with Java, Python and/or JavaScript
• Automation experience using Playwright (MS) and Selenium
• Mobile testing (native apps, simulators, emulators)
• API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing, etc.)
• Exploratory testing expertise
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, Git workflows, and modern SDLC practices
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with A/B testing validation
• Accessibility testing tools (Axe, Lighthouse, etc.)
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter, k6)
• Testing in Cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
