Insight Global is looking for a security risk advisor for the Information Security team at a major bank in Toronto. This advisor will be responsible for assessing security risk within FX and Global Payment applications. They will assess the risk, report findings, and present findings.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7-10+ years of experience working as a security risk advisor at a major North American bank or a large consulting firm
- Azure cloud web risk measurement, web application security vulnerability risk measurement
- Deep understanding on if the application has to be authenticated, encrypted, hardened...and writing a risk report on what would happen if the above were not to be actioned (partnering closely w. the technology team to identify and relay these risks)
- Ability to read code security architecture
- Experience applying different technical methodologies to assess risk such as STRIDE
- This consultant will not be hands on SAST/DAST testing but needs to be able to interrupt results to identify risks
- Experience conducting risk assessments, remediation planning experience
- Application development security assessment experience and experience working with development teams
- Act as a security advisor and a consultant to help enhance security posture, and build secure controls to have a proactive risk management mindset
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience assessing application risks within Foreign Exchange (FX) and global payments within business and technology lines of businesses
