Job Description

Position Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Client Strategy Specialist for a large, leading Canadian retail organization within the home improvement space, offering a unique opportunity to support the growth of a best-in-class retail media network.

The Client Strategy Specialist will support the Retail Media Network team in executing and optimizing digital media campaigns across onsite and offsite channels. This role is heavily focused on campaign execution, performance tracking, and vendor coordination, ensuring campaigns are launched on time, paced effectively, and delivering against key performance targets.

Working closely with internal media planners and account teams, as well as external vendor partners, this individual will play a critical role in driving campaign success through strong organization, communication, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Execution (65%)
• Execute onsite and offsite media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., internal platforms, Google Ads, Meta)
• Partner with Sr. Account Specialists and vendors to gather assets and build campaigns
• Launch, manage, and track campaigns end-to-end, ensuring on-time delivery and high accuracy
• Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities or risks
• Ensure campaign budgets are effectively managed and paced (targeting ~95%+ spend completion)
• Collaborate with marketing and production teams to refine creative and messaging as needed
• Support execution of promotional and event-based campaigns using approved assets and timelines

Planning & Alignment (20%)
• Collaborate with Media Planners and Account teams to align on campaign goals and timelines
• Follow structured campaign workflows and workback schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Identify and address underspend risks, proposing solutions and aligning with internal teams and vendors
• Support ongoing improvements to campaign execution processes

Platform & Performance Expertise (15%)
• Develop a strong understanding of internal platforms and other digital ad platforms
• Analyze campaign data to generate insights and support optimization decisions
• Monitor key campaign metrics and report on performance to internal stakeholders
• Test and evaluate new campaign tactics or ad formats where applicable
• Leverage tools such as Excel and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Adobe Analytics) to track results

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in digital media, eCommerce, or digital marketing campaign execution
• Hands-on experience with campaign execution and performance tracking (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, or similar platforms)
• Strong Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and analysis
• Experience working with external vendors or partners and managing deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• University/College degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Amazon Ads, etc.
• Exposure to Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or other reporting tools
• Prior agency or media planning/buying experience
• Familiarity with retail media or eCommerce environments
