Job Description
The candidate will be supporting the team responsible for maintaining the Operational Non Financial Risk (ONFR) program framework, including the documentation and ongoing design and enhancement of risk and control processes supporting the bank’s products and services. They will be responsible for tracking and reporting on how the program is adopted across various departments within the bank and will also support quality assurance activities related to program documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete recurring and ad hoc administrative assignments in support of the Operational Risk team
• Support the maintenance, documentation, and updates of ONFR program frameworks, processes, and controls
• Track and report on program adoption and usage across various departments within the bank
• Manage and organize large volumes of data related to risk, controls, and compliance activities
• Prepare reports, trackers, and supporting materials using Excel and other standard tools
• Assist with quality assurance (QA) reviews of documentation where required
• Support analysis and reporting where requirements may initially be ambiguous

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong Excel skills, including experience managing and analyzing large datasets
• Prior banking experience
• Experience in Operational Risk Management, Compliance, or Project Management
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong information management and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous experience at BMO
• Testing or Quality Assurance (QA) experience
• Effective planner who can manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and developing analysis and reporting approaches
