Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a QA Analyst (Intermediate) with Automation experience to support within a large financial services environment. This role will focus on validating data pipelines, workflows, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in ETL and data testing, hands-on automation experience, and exposure to cloud environments, with the ability to contribute to and enhance existing automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for data migration and cloud-based workflows
- Perform end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines and data validation across systems
- Contribute to and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Selenium
- Execute both manual and automated test scenarios to ensure data integrity and system reliability
- Work closely with DataOps, DevOps, and QA teams to support quality assurance efforts
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution
- Document test plans, test cases, and results while adhering to QA best practices

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of QA experience, with exposure to data or ETL testing
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle or similar) and understanding of data validation techniques
- Hands-on experience testing ETL pipelines or data transformations
- Some experience working with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue)
- Experience with test automation using Python and/or Selenium
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in financial services or wealth management environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git)
