Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Technology Project Manager / Delivery Consultant (Payments) to lead end-to-end delivery of application development initiatives within the outbound payments portfolio for a major banking client.
This role is focused on core payment systems and payment flows, requiring a strong understanding of how payments work across P2P and B2B channels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving delivery while translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end delivery of payments-related technology projects
- Manage multiple workstreams across application development (SDLC)
- Support initiatives involving:
- Payment processing and transaction flows
- Wire transfers and money movement platforms
- Payment ecosystem integrations
- Apply and ensure alignment to payment standards (ISO 8583 / ISO 20022)
- Partner closely with business stakeholders and technology teams
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
- Manage project financials, timelines, risks, and reporting
- Create executive updates, decks, and governance materials

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of IT Project Management / Delivery experience
Strong understanding of payments and how payment systems operate
Experience with payment standards (ISO 8583 / ISO 20022)
Exposure to Transaction processing
Strong understanding of SDLC and application delivery
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Strong communication skills — ability to simplify complex technology topics
Experience in banking, fintech, or consulting environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Exposure to card networks (Visa / Mastercard)
Basic understanding of FX or cross-border payments
Client-facing consulting experience
