Job Description

We’re seeking a Salesforce Development Lead to architect and deliver innovative solutions on Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud. You’ll join a diverse, agile technical team leveraging modern development practices, scaled agile frameworks, and DevOps/SRE methodologies to build the CRM Advisor Platform of the future. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership, mentoring junior developers while driving business value through strategic platform implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, Development & Deployment: Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical excellence
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Coach, mentor, and review the work of junior developers; establish coding standards and best practices across the development team
• Architecture & Strategy Alignment: Collaborate closely with architects and business partners to translate CRM requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions
• Requirements & Technical Analysis: Partner with scrum teams to gather requirements and user stories; conduct technical analysis, provide accurate estimates, and drive requirement refinement
• Integration & Systems Architecture: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using APIs, event-based patterns, and modern UI frameworks
• DevOps & Best Practices: Champion DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and development best practices; ensure compliance with internal standards and governance frameworks
• Platform Governance & Optimization: Stay current with Salesforce platform updates; implement platform best practices and recommend process efficiencies to optimize performance and scalability

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 10+ years of web-based application design and development (including full-stack development) with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce configuration, customization, development, and deployment
• Salesforce Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud; strong proficiency in:
• APEX coding and advanced object-oriented programming
• Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura framework
• Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and Platform Events
• Salesforce Data Model and security model
• Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud features
• Integration & Architecture: Proven experience integrating Salesforce with third-party enterprise systems using APIs, event-driven architecture, and middleware solutions
• Performance Optimization: Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce performance tuning, security hardening, and scalability engineering
• DevOps & Deployment: Solid understanding of Salesforce DevOps best practices, CI/CD tools, and deployment strategies (changesets, packages, scratch orgs)
• Certifications (Required):
• Salesforce Administrator Certification
• Platform Developer I (PDI)
• Platform Developer II (PDII)
• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to design scalable solutions for complex business challenges
• Agile Experience: Experience working in agile/scrum environments with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Financial Services Experience: Proven track record implementing CRM solutions in the financial services or banking sector
• Advanced Certifications: Salesforce Platform Architect, Advanced Developer, or Solutions Architect certifications
• Data Integration Tools: Experience with Salesforce Data Integration tools (ETLs) like Datastage
• Modern Development: Experience with headless CRM architectures, microservices, or event-driven systems
