Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an AI Engineer to design and build prompt-based solutions and Copilot agents that improve underwriting and operational workflows. This role will focus on developing reusable prompt libraries, enhancing productivity through Microsoft Copilot tools, and ensuring outputs are accurate, governed, and continuously optimized through feedback and monitoring.

We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with prompt engineering and building AI-driven solutions
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or Copilot Studio
Ability to design, test, and iterate on prompt-based workflows
Strong documentation and organization skills (prompt libraries, versioning, standards)
Experience with monitoring usage, performance, and continuous improvement of AI solutions
Understanding of governance, security, and responsible AI practices
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting underwriting or underwriting operations workflows
Familiarity with building reusable AI assets (prompt libraries, agent frameworks)
Experience with user training, enablement, or adoption strategies for AI tools
Background in establishing lightweight governance or lifecycle management processes for AI solutions
Experience working in pod-style or agile team environments
