Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Power Platform Architect to join a leading financial institution in Toronto, ON on a contract basis. This individual will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization’s Power Platform Centre of Excellence (COE).
This role will play a key leadership function in defining enterprise-wide strategy, governance frameworks, and best practices across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The ideal candidate will come from a strong Microsoft/Azure background and have experience building and scaling Power Platform capabilities within a large, regulated environment.
This person will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive adoption, ensure platform stability, and provide advisory support on solution architecture, governance, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will bring a balance of technical depth and strategic leadership to guide the evolution of the platform across the enterprise.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience within data analytics
• Strong experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing a Power Platform Centre of Excellence (COE)
• Hands-on experience with platform governance, including establishing standards, controls, and best practices at an enterprise level
• Previous background as a developer with strong understanding of application architecture and solution design
• Experience overseeing end-to-end platform management, including strategy, advisory, and operations
• Demonstrated experience working within large enterprise environments, preferably within regulated industries
