Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join a multidisciplinary Behaviour Support Worker (BSW) team supporting older adults (65+) with responsive behaviours across UHN sites. This is a hands‑on, frontline role focused on behavioural assessment, implementation of care strategies, and supporting successful patient transitions through acute care settings. This is a newly created position due to increased funding and referral volumes.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
- Completion of a 2‑year college diploma in Behavioural Sciences, Mental Health Studies, Social Service Worker, Gerontology, or a related field
- Experience with older adults/geriatrics populations
- At least 1 year of experience supporting patients in acute care, mental health, or long‑term care settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage competing priorities
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, complex clinical environments
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous experience as a PSW or similar frontline care role
Behavioural training or certifications such as P.I.E.C.E.S., GPA, U‑FIRST, or DementiAbility

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
- Behavioral Science Technician background
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
