Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with deep Canadian banking experience to support deposit and payments initiatives across multiple financial institutions. This role sits within a hybrid delivery model and partners closely with business, technology, and product teams to deliver complex banking transformations.
The ideal candidate has supported large financial institutions, understands payments and deposit products, and can operate across multiple lines of business in fast‑paced, regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary Business Analyst supporting deposit and payments initiatives
Partner with stakeholders across Business Banking, Commercial Banking, and TPS
Support bundled initiatives spanning multiple workstreams and financial institutions
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications
Translate business needs into clear requirements for technology and delivery teams
Support end‑to‑end project delivery, including UAT support, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment
Work within a hybrid environment, collaborating with onshore and nearshore teams
Ensure solutions align with regulatory, risk, and compliance standards typical of Canadian banks

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
7+ years as a Business Analyst within Canadian banking
Experience working across multiple Canadian banks
Strong domain knowledge in Deposits and Payments
Working on Business Banking, or Commercial Banking initiatives
Proven experience working in hybrid delivery models
Strong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, process maps, user stories)
Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and complex enterprise environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting Treasury & Payment Solutions (TPS)
