Job Description
The Salesforce Functional Lead will serve as a senior hands-on leader working closely with business stakeholders and Product Owners to design, refine, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role is responsible for leading requirements discovery, translating business needs into Salesforce best‑practice solutions, and guiding squads through refinement, delivery, and quality assurance. The Functional Lead will partner closely with architects, technical leads, UX, and leadership to ensure solutions align with both business objectives and enterprise technology standards, while proactively identifying gaps, impacts, and optimization opportunities across existing Salesforce implementations.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years as a Salesforce Functional Lead, including 3+ years in banking or financial services
Deep expertise with Salesforce, including Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and the FSC data model
Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions in highly regulated environments
Strong ability to lead business discovery, requirements gathering, and refinement with Product Owners and senior stakeholders
Hands-on experience translating business needs into Salesforce OOTB solutions, with sound judgment on customization
Strong experience creating epics and user stories using Jira, supported by clear functional documentation in Confluence
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking systems and enterprise data lakes
Prior experience presenting solutions to a Salesforce Design Authority or similar governance forum
Experience supporting QA activities including test scenario definition, test case review, and defect triage
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and enterprise CI/CD practices
Background acting as a senior functional lead mentoring team members and leading squad‑level refinement sessions
