Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Head of Human Resources for an investment company in Downtown Toronto. This role is hybrid, four days on-site. They will be leading the HR function and supporting a team of over 100 dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives and foster a culture of high performance and engagement. As Head of HR they will have a full-time HR professional reporting to them.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the firm's growth and business goals.
- Lead all aspects of the talent acquisition process, from sourcing and interviewing to hiring and onboarding, ensuring they attract top-tier talent in the competitive asset management industry, including:
- Develop and manage the summer intern / coop student hiring process
- Develop and promote an on-campus recruiting process for new grads
- Work closely with talent acquisition firms to fill roles requiring relevant experience
- Design and administer a competitive total rewards strategy, including salary benchmarking, bonus structures, and benefits programs tailored to the industry.
- Oversee all employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Manage and refine the firm's performance management system to encourage professional development and drive results.
- Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture, launching initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Ensure full compliance with all Ontario and Canadian employment legislation, keeping abreast of changes and updating policies as required.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on all human capital matters.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of Ontario's Employment Standards Act and other relevant legislation.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
- CHRP or CHRL designation is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience within the financial services or asset management industry is a significant asset.
