The Position
Reporting to EMEA Sales Management, the Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for developing and expanding strategic accounts within the Public and Defense sectors in Canada. This role focuses on managing complex, technical sales cycles centered around AI, LLM, and optimization solutions.
You will work closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, and R&D teams, delivering a highly consultative, value‑driven sales approach.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Direct Sales
• Define and execute the Public and Defense sales strategy for the Canadian market
• Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities with large enterprises and mid‑sized organizations
• Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, discovery, value proposition, negotiation, closing, and expansion
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline with long, complex deal cycles
Customer Engagement & Complex Solution Sales
• Engage C‑level executives and senior leaders across innovation, data, IT, and business functions
• Understand customer challenges related to ROI, performance, compliance, data sovereignty, and inference costs
• Position CompactifAI and Singularity solutions as strategic business enablers
• Act as a trusted advisor in key customer meetings
Go‑to‑Market & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Contribute to GTM strategy for the Public Sector and Defense verticals
• Partner with pre‑sales teams to define POCs, demonstrations, and solution proposals
• Capture customer feedback to inform and influence the product roadmap
• Represent the company at relevant industry events and conferences

Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience in complex B2B sales (SaaS, AI, data, cloud, or enterprise software)
• Proven experience and established network within the Public and Defense sectors
• Demonstrated success closing large, structured deals (typically €300K to multi‑million‑euro engagements)
• Experience navigating long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision‑makers
Key Skills
• Strong ability to sell high‑value, technically complex solutions
• Solid understanding of AI, LLMs, optimization, infrastructure, or data concepts (no engineering background required)
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to structure and manage complex deals
Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset

Compensation: $120,000-$145,000(CAD)/year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
