Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Sr Manager who has a strong background in risk governance and AI model risk. it focuses on governance, risk assessment, and framework design for AI and advanced analytics models. The successful candidate will help define how AI models are classified, assessed, monitored, and governed, working closely with Model Risk Management, Quantitative teams, and business stakeholders. Additionally, they will have high visibility and broad stakeholder impact, supporting both first‑line and second‑line risk activities as AI adoption accelerates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in model risk management, risk governance, or operational risk within a large financial institution.
• Hands‑on experience with model risk frameworks (including non‑traditional or AI/ML models).
• Strong understanding of AI model use cases in banking and the associated risk considerations.
• Experience developing or implementing AI governance frameworks, policies, or standards.
• Proven ability to operate without a quantitative modeling background while effectively partnering with quantitative and validation teams.
Strong judgment, problem‑solving, and written communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting enterprise AI initiatives or emerging technology risk programs.
• Exposure to model validation teams or regulatory model risk expectations (without being a validator).
• Strong stakeholder management experience in large, complex organizations.
Experience overseeing or coordinating external vendors or consulting resources.
