Job Description
A leading global investment bank, is scaling its agentic AI program and requires a Lead Quality Engineering Engineer to support the validation and testing of agentic AI applications as they move from proof-of-concept into production environments.
This role requires a strong foundation in manual testing with proven experience across complex, data-intensive applications in an enterprise or financial services environment (ideally capital markets). The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, contributing to active test cycles from day one while helping to define quality standards for a growing agentic AI program. The candidate will be comfortable with 4 days on site in Toronto, Montreal OR Vancouver.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in quality engineering or QA within an enterprise or financial services environment
Strong hands-on manual testing skills across API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
Experience testing workflow-based, orchestrated, or event-driven systems, including microservices or RPA platforms
Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalent manual testing tools
Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, Postman, or equivalent
Proven ability to work within regulated environments with attention to audit documentation, traceability, and governance
Strong communicator able to work across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
Background in capital markets, equities technology, or fintech
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Direct exposure to agentic AI systems or multi-step LLM pipelines
∙ Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
∙ Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or LLM evaluation frameworks
