Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the team with one of our largest banking clients on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be required to go on-site in downtown Toronto 3x a week and will support and evolve enterprise inventory, asset, and ServiceNow‑based systems. This role goes beyond documentation—requiring someone who can dive into complex, ambiguous problems, span multiple systems, and persist until the right answers, data, and alignment are achieved.

The ideal candidate brings strong process definition, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills, with a particular focus on CMDB, HAM, SAM, and inventory management. This individual will play a critical role in closing documentation and data gaps, enabling audit readiness, and ensuring business and technical teams are aligned around accurate, actionable information.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and analyze end‑to‑end business processes, tackling complex problems beyond basic documentation.
- Gather, refine, and document clear business and functional requirements across ServiceNow, inventory management, and related systems.
- Analyze and document data structures, including tables, source‑to‑target mappings, and data dictionaries.
- Identify and close gaps across CMDB, HAM, and SAM, strengthening documentation and data quality.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to align priorities, secure inputs, and drive consensus—even when inventory management is not a primary focus.
- Produce high‑quality documentation, diagrams (using Lucidchart), and supporting materials in Confluence, tracking work in Jira.
- Support audit, compliance, and governance needs through accurate, traceable documentation.
- Create training materials and enable knowledge transfer; communicate proactively and consistently with stakeholders.
