Job Description
The System Administrator for Blackline leads the configuration, administration, and optimization of the BlackLine platform to support our banking client's global financial close and balance sheet reconciliation processes. This role partners closely with Finance leadership, Technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, improve reconciliation efficiency, and drive process automation. The position also owns platform governance, change management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize the value of BlackLine across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial systems administration, accounting (knowledge of accounting principles), or finance operations
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with BlackLine OR similar financial close/reconciliation platforms (Oracle Fusion, TrinTech, OneStream, Numera)
- Strong understanding of financial close processes, balance sheet controls, and compliance requirements
- Experience overseeing system configuration, enhancements, onboarding, and change management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Canadian Banking experience or Financial Services experience
