Job Description
Insight Global's client is hiring for Finance Director to oversee the finance function and business organization, having ultimate accountability over internal and external reporting deliverables as well as the overall financial health of their Canada business unit, comprised of several legal entities.
The role reports to the CFO of North America, Allianz Partners.
Working closely with the leads of the wider finance function, i.e. Accounting & Reporting, Planning & Controlling and the Finance Centre of Excellence, this Director will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and ongoing transformation
activities across the Canada business unit.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the CFO in the delivery of the business financial targets by developing
and executing the strategic priorities;
• Ultimate accountability for the monthly and quarterly financial closing governance, heavily
supported by the finance teams;
• Collaborate closely with underwriting, sales and the line of business teams to secure the financial
health of the sub-region, ensuring profitable growth;
• Develop and implement strong cash/capital management strategy for long term sustainability;
• Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration with external bodies, including external auditors,
regulators, tax administrations;
• Guide local compliance, risk, and legal teams to ensure appropriate controls and adherence to
corporate guidelines in place;
• Drive the Group Finance strategy across the sub-region, supporting the transformation activities
across all aspects;
• Lead the “OneTeam” culture across the Canada finance teams, lead by example and drive excellence across the wider sub-region

Finance related Bachelors Degree
