Job Description
Insight Global is a skilled English-to-Canadian French Translator to join a large banking client on a 6 month contract based in Toronto. This role operates in a hybrid/remote, highly collaborative environment with strong peer support and shared linguistic standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate English content into Canadian French for:
○ Online Banking
○ Mobile Banking
○ Digital product acquisition journeys
• Support end‑to‑end digital content delivery, ensuring translations align with UX intent, tone, and accessibility standards
• Collaborate with content designers and writers to clarify context and ensure accuracy
• Manage multiple translation requests in a fast‑paced digital release environment
• Research terminology independently and maintain consistency across platforms
•Proactively communicate timelines, risks, and dependencies to internal partners

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Translator, with a focus on English-to-French translations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Translation or 5+ years of experience with reputable organizations
- Tech savvy and willingness to learn new technologies
- Strong communication experience and go-getter mentality
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Professional accreditation: OTTIAQ (Quebec) or ATIO (Ontario)
- Experience with CAT tools (e.g., MemoQ, Trados)
- Financial services or banking experience
- Marketing or digital content background
