Job Description
The Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations,
ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with
accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership
skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting practices, and the ability to drive process
improvements and streamline financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and supervise the accounting team as applicable, including accounts
payable, accounts receivable, trial balance and general ledger.
● Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including
balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
● Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries,
reconciliations, and financial analysis.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support
budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
● Recommend, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard client
assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
● Review and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations
to client management for improving financial performance and operational
efficiency.
● Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry
trends, and ensure compliance with new requirements.
● Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations,
enhance accuracy, and optimize efficiency.
● Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and
support to foster their professional growth

Required Skills & Experience
● CPA or CPA path
● The candidate has established a solid foundation in accounting and client/stakeholder management. They should be familiar with what is involved in the month-end process.
● Strong communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop cross-functional relationships with juniors and to delegate work as necessary.
● Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
● Proficient in using ERP systems, other accounting software packages and possess advanced MS Excel skills. Be able to pick up new technology and applications quickly.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with acute attention to detail.
● Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
● Sound decision-making skills and ability to exercise judgement in complex situations
