Business Systems Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a technically strong Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a Capital Markets delivery team at a top-tier financial institution. This role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders and a highly technical delivery team, with a strong focus on reference data, API integrations, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a senior-level BSA who is comfortable driving meetings, translating business needs into detailed technical requirements, and working closely with developers, data modelers, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams within Capital Markets
• Lead and drive stakeholder meetings with strong ownership and communication (very high emphasis)
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Write detailed technical requirements and support API-driven solutions
• Work closely with technology teams on data modeling and solution design
• Support reference data initiatives and integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and architects

• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Strong Capital Markets & Financial Services experience
• Hands-on Python and SQL experience for data analysis
• Experience using Postman
• Strong API knowledge and experience (REST, integrations, testing)
• Excellent communication skills (10/10) with the ability to confidently lead discussions with business stakeholders

• Experience working specifically with Reference Data
• Exposure to Murex
• Experience in data modeling or working closely with data design teams
