Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Advisor, Business Advisory & Consulting to join a leading organization in a highly regulated, payments‑focused environment.
This Senior Advisor will join a growing Information Security team responsible for conducting end‑to‑end security assessments for applications, solutions, and vendors entering or changing within the environment. This is a function within InfoSec requires someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, helping build processes, and providing both technical security insight and business‑focused advisory support. On a day‑to‑day basis, this individual will spend significant time partnering with business units, application teams, vendors, and architecture teams to understand new initiatives, application builds, migrations, or changes. They will lead security risk and threat risk assessments (TRAs), review architecture and design decisions, assess security controls, and analyze supporting artifacts such as penetration test reports and vulnerability scans.
A core part of the role is translating technical security findings into clear, articulate guidance for non‑security stakeholders. This person will prepare and present assessment outcomes, identify gaps and compensating controls, and help the business understand risk in a practical, actionable way.
This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple concurrent assessments, document using available tools, and continue to shaping how the advisory and assessment function evolves over time.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Information Security, with a strong focus on security advisory and assessments
Proven hands‑on experience conducting:
-Security Risk Assessments
-Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs)
-Application and solution security reviews
Strong understanding of application, cloud, and data security concepts
Experience reviewing architecture, security designs, standards, and vendor solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Cloud security experience (organizations moving toward cloud environments)
-Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI, and aligning them to internal standards
-Consulting or advisory background (security assessments, risk consulting, third‑party/vendor assessments)
-Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP)
-Experience supporting or assessing third‑party/vendor solutions
