Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Data Analyst for a Quality Assurance and Inspection company. This role is hybrid, 3x a week on-site in Mississauga. This potential candidate will have extensive experience working with data analysis, modeling fundamentals and troubleshooting issues. The successful candidate will independently translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, drive continuous improvement through analytics, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment with minimal oversight. As well as, great communication skills so they can work alongside with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of strong, hands‑on experience in data analysis
• Proven ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and shape it into clear, usable insights
• Advanced Excel expertise - able to rebuild heavy, time‑consuming models into robust, scalable, automated solutions
• Strong understanding of financial math and modeling fundamentals (can build something from scratch, not just maintain)
• Deep, practical experience working in ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred; PeopleSoft, Oracle acceptable)
• Solid understanding of GL structures and data flow (how data moves through the ledger and downstream reporting)
• Experience getting into the weeds - combing through data, troubleshooting issues, solving ambiguous problems
• Ability to pull metrics, build forecasts, and automate recurring reporting/processes
• Experience creating dashboards and visualized reporting (Power BI or similar)
• Comfortable operating in uncertainty, with incomplete or imperfect data
• Strong stakeholder communication skills — able to explain complex data clearly to non‑technical partners

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in professional services, assurance, testing, inspection, or certification environments
• Exposure to North American multi‑entity and/or multi‑currency organizations
• Experience with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or similar)
• Demonstrated history of driving measurable improvements (cost savings, forecasting accuracy, process efficiency)
• Experience supporting senior leadership with strategic and operational financial analysis
