Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a leading Courier and Logistics customer on their Corporate Technology team. This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga and requires 3x/week on site (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday preferred).

The Corporate Technology team is embarking on a multi‑year initiative to migrate and modernize key capabilities from a sister company into the core enterprise ecosystem. This Technical Business Analyst will play a critical role in requirements gathering, business process mapping, data flow analysis, and supporting technical teams throughout build, integration, and testing.

This role supports net-new projects, focusing on bridging business needs with technical delivery, defining requirements, and ensuring a successful transition of core functionalities into a new enterprise environment.

You will collaborate closely with:
A dedicated PM
Solutions Architect
SMEs from PI & the extended IT organization
Cross-functional IT and business teams
International sister company team

This is a confidential, high-impact, multi-year transformation program—similar in scale to a large cloud migration or core system rebuild.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements (40–50%)
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Drive discovery sessions, ask probing questions, and challenge assumptions (not acting as a scribe).

Systems & Data Analysis (20–25%)
- Analyze existing systems and map current vs. future state capabilities.
- Work with large datasets or data analysis activities as required.
- Break down requirements for technical teams and ensure clarity across all IT workstreams.

Technical Collaboration (20–25%)
- Partner with architects, developers, and SMEs to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Review API specifications, understand Postman collections, and support light API testing.
- Participate in appsec conversations and ensure requirements align with security needs.

Testing Support (10%)
- Assist with UAT planning and execution.
- Validate requirements against delivered functionality.
