Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join a Big 5 Canadian Banking client. You’ll work closely with digital partners, fellow designers and engineers to turn complex financial journeys into clear, intuitive, and accessible experiences. Beyond hands‑on design, you’ll bring strong product thinking, contribute to design direction, and support the growth of junior designers through mentoring and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead end‑to‑end design process for digital lending acquisition journeys, from early concepts through launch and iteration.
· Plan and support user research and usability testing, translating customer insights into clear design decisions and improvements.
· Create and evolve wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs, with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and business goals.
· Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and digital partners to shape solutions that are feasible, consistent, and scalable.
· Champion design system standards, contributing to component libraries and ensuring quality and consistency across experiences.
Provide design direction and constructive feedback through critiques, and support the growth of junior designers through mentoring and collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience
· 5-7 years of experience in product design, preferably in financial industry.
· Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UI/UX projects for web and mobile.
· Proficient in Figma
· Understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Experience in Agile environments.
· Knowledge of accessibility standards.
· Interest in motion design
· Experience conducting UX research
Experience with digital sales applications
