Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Risk Assessor to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives at a leading financial institution in Toronto, ON on a contract basis to start. This role involves conducting comprehensive risk assessments, analyzing data to identify vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate across teams to promote a risk-aware culture, communicate findings to senior stakeholders, and support continuous improvement of governance frameworks. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, advanced Microsoft Suite proficiency, and the ability to synthesize complex information. Ideal candidates will have experience in risk management, data governance, or information security, and a relevant degree or diploma. Required Skills & Experience
-3-5+ years of relevant experience in risk, ideally in FI
-Experience with third-party risk assessment and data governance frameworks
-Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
-Experience with data management fundamentals and ETL tools
-Experience with cloud-based data solutions
-Post-Secondary education in risk management, data governance, info security or other relevant disciplines
-Able to work onsite in downtown Toronto, ON 1-2x/week as needed
