Developing strategies to attract and maintain a skilled workforce is also essential, including recruiting, talent development, and succession planning.

Compliance with laws and regulations is enforced by establishing and monitoring performance standards for contractors. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement design changes, resolves noncompliance issues, and maintains certifications. Ensuring the quality and functionality of construction projects through the warranty period is also a responsibility.

Lead capital planning and budgeting at the program level for all major renovation projects across Canada, including forecasting and financial oversight.
Develop and coach a high-performing team of 12+ full-time employees and third-party construction managers responsible for delivering large-scale remodel projects annually.
Manage contractor performance by maintaining a vetted portfolio of prequalified general contractors, setting clear standards for quality, safety, schedule, and cost, and providing feedback based on measurable outcomes.
Serve as the escalation point for contract disputes, change orders, and schedule/phasing adjustments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project delivery.
Drive operational excellence by championing innovation, implementing process improvements, and fostering team engagement through recognition of incremental successes. This role requires 5 days a week on-site in Mississauga, and open to travelling up to once per week within Canada.
