Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Technical Lead. This role is primarily responsible for the advanced technical expertise, hands-on administration, and continuous improvement of Celestica's global collaboration environment. This selected person will act as the senior individual contributor for administering the Google Workspace solutions (including Google Mobile Device Management) and other productivity tools. This role requires deep technical expertise in both Google Cloud and Azure Cloud administration to support integrated hybrid environments. This individual will also actively participate in coordinating with external vendors and internal IT teams to ensure that collaboration infrastructure monitoring and automation requirements are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities include the following:
ollaboration Administration: Serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and hands-on administrator for Google Workspace and related collaboration tools, ensuring security, compliance, and optimal configuration.
Cloud Administration: Executes administration and support tasks for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Microsoft Azure environments, and AWS focusing on securing and efficiently operating the cloud infrastructure components relevant to collaboration services.
ITIL Execution: Executes daily Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes for collaboration services in adherence to the ITIL framework to minimize business disruption.
Automation & Monitoring: Develops, scripts, and implements automation solutions to drive efficiency and reduce manual operational effort, and actively maintains the infrastructure monitoring strategy for collaboration tools.
Technical Project Execution: Contributes to and executes technical project plans for complex collaboration and cloud migration projects, focusing on delivering high-quality technical implementation.
Technical Evaluation: Provides in-depth technical analysis and performs proof-of-concept testing for new collaboration technologies and SaaS tools, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
Architecture Support: Contributes to the technical maintenance and governance of the collaboration architecture landscape and roadmap, focusing on practical implementation details.
Risk Identification: Proactively identifies and reports technical risks within the collaboration environment and assists in developing practical risk mitigation strategies.
Mentorship & Training: Provides technical mentorship to junior team members; develops and delivers technical training/documentation to support the adoption and operational use of collaboration tools.
Communication: Clearly communicates technical updates, operational status, and process adherence to the team and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years previous experience in a similar technical role/industry
Extensive hands-on experience as a Google Workspace Administrator and Collaboration Tools Administrator.
Proven hands-on experience in Google Cloud (GCP) , AWS and Azure Cloud administration. (with an emphasis on Azure)
Strong practical knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
Demonstrated background in IT Infrastructure automation and monitoring.
Collaboration Platforms: Deep expertise in architecting and managing Google Workspace and other enterprise collaboration solutions.
Cloud Platforms: Strong administration skills for Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Microsoft Azure.
ITIL Framework: Strong practical knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change management.
Automation & Monitoring: Strong background in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Apps Script), automation tools, and enterprise monitoring solutions.
Project Management: A good understanding of project management and developing technical project plans.
Product Selection: A good understanding of product selection processes and technical evaluation
