Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support global data center deployments for one of the world’s leading technology companies. This role focuses on ensuring suppliers deliver optical transceivers and related network hardware components (switches, optics, cables) according to commitments, enabling seamless infrastructure builds. The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to monitor production, manage capacity and yields, mitigate shortages, and ensure timely delivery. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in ambiguity are critical for success.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain operations or related field.
- Expertise in network hardware (optical transceivers, switches, optics, cables).
- Experience with manufacturing supply chains, including production, capacity, and yield management.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and High Tables.
- Experience with Tableau for reporting and visualization.
- Strong communication skills for supplier and internal stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Hands-on experience with supplier management and ensuring production commitments are met.
- Experience in shortage mitigation and supply chain project execution.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Business management or project management experience.
- Familiarity with inventory management processes.
- Understanding of multiple optic types and ability to manage lower-yield product categories.
- Knowledge of S&OP-like processes and supply planning tools.
- Experience with reverse logistics and end-to-end supply chain processes.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.
