Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an experienced Azure Developer to lead the deployment and management of a critical third-party Anti-Money Laundering (AML) application for a top 5 banking client in downtown Toronto. This role combines DevOps expertise with application runtime optimization, focusing on containerized Java workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). You will own the technical infrastructure for the AML platform, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and performance tuning for systems that process millions of transactions daily.
Key responsibilities include architecting AKS clusters, automating deployments with Helm, configuring networking and ingress, optimizing JBoss EAP runtimes, managing PostgreSQL databases, and implementing robust security measures aligned with banking regulations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster design, scaling, and networking (VNet integration, Azure CNI).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Application Gateway, AGIC, or NGINX ingress controllers.
- Familiarity with Azure Key Vault integration for secrets management.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and HA strategies.
- Knowledge of PgBouncer and query optimization for high-volume datasets.
- Experience supporting AML platforms (e.g., Actimize, Watch List Management).
- Knowledge of Azure Service Bus or Kafka for messaging.
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.
- Middleware expertise in JBoss EAP configuration and JVM tuning.
- Familiarity with Azure Managed Disks and NetApp for NFS storage.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Understanding of OpenShift or other Kubernetes distributions.
- Prior TD experience.
