Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join a large banking client on a 9-month contract fully remote across Canada working EST hours. The successful candidate will join a team of cybersecurity experts to support multiple migration projects to successfully migrate windows servers to container environments and on-prem data security platforms to cloud. Previous experience with DevOps tools, infrastructure/network security, and programming with Python or PowerShell.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-5 years experience as a DevSecOps engineer for medium-large enterprises
- Experience with building and managing Windows application servers
- Experience with Python, PowerShell scripting, GitHub, Ansible and overall DevOps experience
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, subnets, security groups)
- Experience using tools for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate with executive stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Varonis applications
- Experience with DLP and regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture and advanced services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, ECS, ECR, IAM)
- Experience using tools like AWS CloudFormation and CDK
- Experience with Terraform
