Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our agile product team on a 6‑month contract covering a maternity leave, with a strong likelihood of extension. This role is fully focused on building and productionizing RAG‑based chatbots and GenAI applications that support both employee‑facing and consumer‑facing technologies.
You’ll work as part of a dedicated agile squad, owning a single high‑priority initiative end‑to‑end — from prompt engineering and LLM development to deployment in production environments.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and optimize RAG‑based chatbots and other GenAI solutions RAG‑based chatbots
Develop and refine prompt engineering strategies for LLM‑powered applications prompt engineering strategies
Collaborate closely with LLM engineers and product partners to shape solution architecture LLM engineers collaboration
Implement chunking and text‑processing approaches for documentation and knowledge retrieval chunking and text‑processing approaches
Work within an agile delivery model, participating in sprints, standups, and iterative releases agile delivery model
Drive solutions from prototype to full production deployment production deployment
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI systems in real‑world environments AI system performance

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands‑on experience with LLM development LLM development experience
Proven experience building and deploying chatbots chatbot experience
Strong background in text data processing and NLP workflows text data processing
Expertise with AWS Bedrock and related cloud‑native AI tooling AWS Bedrock expertise
Experience shipping AI/ML solutions into production environments shipping AI solutions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines vector databases
Familiarity with enterprise‑scale knowledge management systems knowledge management systems
