• Lead 1–2 Agile pods focused on modernizing APIs that power core digital banking features (e.g., Transfer Funds, Bill Pay, e-Transfers, Offers, Account Summary).
• Own the API product lifecycle: define, sequence, and manage APIs from inception through decoupling, migration, and deployment into cloud environments (AWS or applicable).
• Execute platform modernization initiatives as part of a multi-year program to decompose a large monolithic system into microservices and cloud-based architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital Architecture (DA) teams and other product owners to align on migration plans, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Manage backlog and prioritize features for modernization workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic roadmap.
• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables for APIs in the BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) layer between UI and backend systems.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, metrics, and financials for assigned products, ensuring delivery meets performance and cost targets.
• Engage stakeholders regularly to provide updates, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment across horizontal teams.
• Support business analysis activities to disassemble legacy digital products and reassemble them into modernized, modular services.
Ensure compliance and security standards are met during API development and migration processes.
