Quant - Entity Resolution

Insight Global is seeking a Quant Analyst, Quant Engineer, Quant Researcher, Data Scientist, Data expert to support a critical Client Entity Resolution project within the Capital Markets division of one of Canada's Big 5 Banks.

The successful candidate must possess an extensive quantitative background with relevant experience in Entity Resolution and stakeholder management. This role involves working with large volumes of sensitive client data and collaborating with various stakeholders across the enterprise.

The Consultant will use Bloomberg and other external data vendors clean data into the bank for validating, standardizing and enriching the banks client records to be used for Identifying, linking, and merging records from one or more data sources that correspond to the same real-world entity. The goal is to create a Golden Record of each client entity ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the full enterprise.


Responsibilities
• Client entity resolution
• Identify, link, and merge records from one or more data sources that correspond to the same real-world entity
• Identify and solution gaps and data.
• Manage 40+ stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Oversee development and optimization of the algorithms and models used to accurately link records and manage data uncertainty.
Use Bloomberg and other external data vendors clean data into the bank for validating, standardizing and enriching the banks client records to be used for Identifying, linking, and merging records from one or more data sources that correspond to the same real-world entity.

• Entity resolution Project Experience
• Experience working with Bloomberg or similar data vendors to create datasets.
• 8+ years of Quant and Heavy data.
• Experience with development and optimization of the algorithms and models used to accurately link records and manage data uncertainty.
• Strong stakeholder management
Strong experience working with Quant or Data in Banks

Experience working at CIBC, TD or RBC.
