Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Content Designer to join a Big 5 banking client. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging and intuitive customer experiences for web and platform. You will collaborate closely with various product partners, designers, researchers and other content designers to ensure the delivery of clear and accessible content. The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, and developers to craft clear, concise, and user-centered content for an investment platform.
• Write and structure content for digital experiences, including UI copy, error messages, onboarding flows, and help content, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Apply content design principles and plain language standards to create intuitive experiences that meet WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Partner with UX Researchers to validate content through usability testing and incorporate insights into iterative improvements.
• Participate in design and content sprints, contributing to ideation sessions and ensuring content aligns with design system standards.
• Maintain and update content within design systems and documentation tools (e.g., Figma, Zeroheight), ensuring consistency across multiple portfolios.
• Manage content governance processes, including version control, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder approvals.
• Advocate for content best practices and user-centered design across teams, providing guidance and training where needed.
• Collaborate on localization and tone-of-voice guidelines to ensure content resonates with diverse audiences.
• Track and measure content performance using analytics and feedback loops to inform continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in Content Design
• Figma
• Agile experience, specifically working with technical stakeholders
• Strong sense of collaboration with various stakeholder groups and ability to adapt to various working style
Strong communicator, dependable, and a go-getter who can work with stakeholders to drive clarity about user needs and business objectives, advance our design practice, and advocates for the user
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Wealth product experience
• Journey mapping experience
• Experience working in a sprint team
• Educational content experience (ie. Appcues)
