What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Project Coordinator, IT is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and following up on requests for information received by a team. The role makes decisions on their work methods to provide information for resourcing, budgeting, planning, compliance, tracking, and other services that are often requested. The Senior Project Coordinator, IT exercises independent judgment within defined procedures, providing technical guidance to project team members and engaging subject matter expertise input on behalf of the team. The role works with limited direction to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology platforms, processes, procedures, and governance models.

How you'll succeed
o Coordination – Support Project Managers throughout all project management lifecycle phases. Develop, manage and control schedules by updating, making mitigation decisions, and escalating as appropriate to the Project Manager.
o Tracking & Reporting – Track progress and make recommendations on response plans for risks, resolution plans for issues, and results on action items and make decisions on required escalations.
o Project Financials – Track and reconcile financials, ensure resolution of anomalies, update and reconcile latest estimates, ensure actuals to plan, and make escalating recommendations as appropriate.
Who you are
o You can demonstrate 3-5 years of experience managing all facets of a project as a Senior IT Project Coordinator. You have hands-on experience creating project artifacts and supporting Project Managers during the project management lifecycle. You have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project and strong written and verbal communication skills. In addition, you have strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and enterprise development concepts.
