Job Description
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in banking and payments to lead complex, large-scale initiatives within our Commercial Banking division. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused leader who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, and who brings a strong command of payment rails, APIs, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact payments projects, including Real-Time Rails, EFT, ACH, Wires, Interac, and ISO 20022 migrations.
Manage cross-functional teams across business, technology, and compliance to deliver on Payments Canada and federal regulatory mandates.
Drive initiatives involving payment modernization (PayMod), CHIPS, Linkx, and liquidity management.
Balance technical depth with business acumen to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
Champion change management and stakeholder alignment across Commercial Banking.
Deliver executive-level presentations and status updates with clarity and confidence.
Apply Waterfall (and hybrid) methodologies to manage scope, timelines, and risk.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of project management experience within the Banks
Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex payment initiatives.
Strong understanding of payment systems: Real-Time Rails, Interac, Wires, EFT, ACH, APIs (flexible), ISO 20022, CHIPS.
Experience working with Payments Canada and federal regulatory bodies.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills; able to influence at all levels.
Comfortable navigating both technical and business domains.
Highly adaptable, with a style that fits the commercial banking environment.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
