Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the functional deconstruction and replacement of a legacy Fiserv Branch Teller and Branch Admin system. This is a mission-critical role in a multi-year core banking transformation effort, focused on unwinding deeply embedded financial processes and rebuilding them in-house.

You’ll work closely with product owners, SMEs, and stakeholders to understand how the legacy system operates, document business requirements, and guide the design of the future-state solution. This is not your average BA role—we need someone who can connect the dots across complex financial workflows, reconciliation logic, and general ledger architecture.

- Analyze and document the functionality of Fiserv Branch Teller/Admin systems
- Reverse-engineer legacy processes and identify business-critical transactions
- Lead discovery sessions to understand what users do, why they do it, and what must be preserved or replaced
- Identify and document controls, checks and balances, and reconciliation logic
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define future-state requirements and product specifications
- Create detailed documentation: BRDs, spec sheets, user stories, process flows, and impact assessments
- Serve as SME for financial components: general ledger, reconciliation, balancing, and transaction integrity
- Work with product owners to guide development teams on what needs to be built
- Help lift and shift core banking functionality from legacy systems to modern platforms
- Engage with users who may not fully understand the system’s purpose—ask the right questions and extract meaningful insights
