Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Change Specialist to support a leading Transportation and Logistics client based in Mississauga. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence 3 times per week in Mississauga. Occasional travel (twice annually) may be required to London, ON, Richmond, BC, or Ottawa.
Role Overview:
The Change Specialist will play a critical role in supporting and integrating projects into business teams and processes, with a focus on pilot execution, implementation, stabilization, and go-live deliverables. The primary focus is on deploying new tools and processes within the Finance line of business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current and upcoming changes to business processes, systems, and technologies. They will act as a liaison and advocate for key stakeholders in the Finance department, ensuring business needs are represented and supported through the development of relevant tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment Leadership
- Organize and lead a cross-functional deployment team through preparation, implementation, and stabilization phases.
Oversee:
- Pilot execution
- Change management planning, readiness, and reinforcement
- Tactical and strategic communications
- Training development and delivery
- Process and field engineering design and stabilization
- Procurement and supply coordination
- Analytics and reporting development
- Performance measurement
- IT equipment and user accessibility
- Coordination with stakeholders, especially in Finance
- Lessons learned exercises
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Translate and communicate project initiatives and future-state processes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advocate for field and business team interests in project working sessions.
- Ensure appropriate stakeholder identification and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate regularly with business teams on upcoming changes, expectations, and status updates.
Strategic Change Management
- Apply structured change management methodologies, including risk identification and mitigation planning.
- Develop success criteria and measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency.
- Identify resistance and performance gaps; collaborate with business teams to implement corrective actions.
- Visit terminals to gather feedback and understand current challenges and future needs.
Leadership & Influence
- Lead by influence, leveraging peers and organizational resources to support project execution.
- Maintain a holistic understanding of the business to ask the right questions and ensure clarity of objectives.

Required Skills & Experience
Change Management
- Minimum 5 years of corporate-level change management experience
- Proven ability to manage complex, long-term communication projects
Stakeholder Engagement
- Comfortable working with all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to executive leadership
Communication
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate technical and strategic initiatives into clear, actionable messaging for diverse audiences
Analytical & Reporting
- Experience reporting on qualitative data and change KPIs
- Skilled in developing action plans to address performance gaps and resistance
Project & Process Knowledge
- Familiarity with business process changes, especially in finance
- Strong financial acumen
- Understanding of deployment phases: pilot, implementation, stabilization, and go-live
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bilingualism (English/French) is strongly preferred
- Experience working with tools such as SAP S/4Hana, ERP systems, and eProcurement platforms
- Certificate in Change Management
