Job Description

Will support the Collateral Management Group (CMG) within an enterprise banking capital markets environment, focusing on business-as-usual operations while subject matter experts support a bank-wide project. This is a contract Level 7 role (or strong Level 6), requiring expertise in derivatives, settlements, or collateral operations.

Roles/Responsibilities:
- Perform clearing and reconciliation activities on production teams.
- Manage operational processes related to collateral (e.g., safekeeping, tracking, releases).
- Respond to internal and external inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Support strategic initiatives and change management activities.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues, escalate when needed.
- Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and support team performance.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and risk controls.
- Act as backup for team members and manager as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and support implementation of solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.

***2x per week on site at FCP

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in capital markets operations.
- Strong background in derivatives, settlements, or collateral management.
- Experience with clearing CCPs and meeting strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Calypso.
- VBA and Power Query skills.
- Familiarity with intraday liquidity processes.
- Prior exposure to enterprise banking environments.
