Job Description

Insight global is seeking a highly experienced and exceptionally motivated Procurement Operations Specialist to join a top technology client in their infrastructure supply chain. This role is fully remote and requires PST working hours. This is a pivotal role that demands a strong background in international supply chain management, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of diverse supply chain models and their strategic implementation.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing our end-to-end procurement processes and execution. A primary responsibility will be ensuring the timely and accurate release of Purchase Orders (POs) to meticulously meet all established business requirements and key performance metrics. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our global supply chain initiatives. Furthermore, strong analytical skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and procedures.
- Experience with various supply chain models (e.g., make-to-stock, make-to-order).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and global logistics.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of statistical methods and their application in business analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM certification
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
