Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join a leading Pharmaceutical company within their Strategic Projects division. The Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for project co-ordination and act as an SME within compounding, filling/packaging, and cleaning/sterilization equipment and processes, both sterile and non-sterile, for machinery that will be installed and operated on-site. They will lead/support the development of project designs, prepare cost estimates, review/provide feedback on all design documentation, and provide recommendations to appropriate stakeholders. Other duties include leading/supporting the development and execution of commissioning, validation, and change control requirements for work assigned. This is a fast-moving, dynamic project and so the successful candidate should have high organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or other chemical processing industry
University degree in Engineering
Plant technical support and/or design and construction coordination experience
Project lead experience
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging components, automation systems, machinery, and utilities
Experience working with processes for liquid dose products and equipment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in supporting investigations/CAPA
P.Eng designation
Certified packaging professional designation
Project Management or MS Project experience
Kneat software experience
