Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a General Manager to lead the Web Applications business unit for a client in the AI and software development space. This role will drive the development of standalone, customer-facing web applications built on the clients core platform.

Key Responsibilities:
Full P&L ownership of the Web Applications unit
Define product and go-to-market strategy
Build and lead high-performing engineering and product teams
Drive customer development and market execution
Oversee development of proprietary web apps using modern open-source tools
Ensure seamless integration with the core platform
Manage infrastructure, orchestration, microservices, and databases (Kubernetes-heavy)

Required Skills & Experience

Strong technical background with deep knowledge of modern tech stacks
Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud-native development
Proven leadership in engineering and product development
Prior P&L responsibility, ideally in a startup or founder role
5+ years in B2B software, data/AI platforms, or enterprise applications
Track record of building and scaling revenue-generating business units
Familiarity with product-led growth and enterprise software sales cycles
Understanding of data and AI infrastructure, DevOps/MLOps, and API ecosystems
