Job Description

IT Business Analyst (IT BA) plays a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Collaboration:

· Partner with operations teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

· Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to understand business needs and pain points.

· Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Requirements Management:

· Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

· Create use cases, user stories, process flows, and business models to articulate requirements clearly.

· Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Solution Design & Delivery:

· Collaborate with Data technical teams to design solutions that meet operational requirements.

· Support system configuration, integration, and customization efforts, ensuring alignment with business processes.

· Validate solutions during testing phases, ensuring they meet documented requirements and deliver expected outcomes.

· Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement during project execution.

Continuous Improvement:

· Analyze existing operational workflows and recommend enhancements leveraging AI Tools.

· Business Process Analysis: Proven ability to evaluate operational workflows and identify areas for optimization.

· Requirements Management: Expertise in developing comprehensive documentation, including use cases, process flows, and user stories.

· Technical Acumen: Familiarity and curiosity of AI Tools, configurations, system integrations, and end-to-end implementation processes.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and facilitation skills to gather requirements and manage expectations effectively.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose practical solutions.

· Tools Proficiency: Skilled in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and MS Projects.

· Methodologies: Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst

· Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

· Proven track record of delivering projects in complex, cross-functional environments.

· Strong understanding of operational processes in industries like supply chain, manufacturing, or consumer goods.
