Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Automation Specialist to join the Automation Center of Excellence within the banks Technology & Operations group. This person will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Automation Services and their primary responsibility will be to work between the teams current clients and developers as well as platform owners to deliver enhancements and bug fixes for current automation workflows. The selected candidate will work with the offshore development team and internal stakeholders to develop and close their backlog of items. The selected candidate must be able to effectively capture and articulate requirements, test cases, pass criteria, and assess criticality to development teams. They will also work with the teams current clients to communicate any new issues, set priorities, and provide proactive updates.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience leading a development team, QA, and testing.
Strong leadership skills (e.g., able to communicate objectives clearly, effectively organize requirements)
Strong planning and coordination skills (e.g., within a shared environment with many different dependencies and moving parts)
Knowledge of ServiceNow development
Hands-on experience with Ansible and Jira
Can work with offshore resources (may require work done afterhours)
