Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Controls Specialist to join the nuclear energy team within a top industrial automation client. The Intermediate Project Controls Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, working closely with the Project Manager and Director/Manager/Leads of various departments to assess project progress, identify issues & liaison between departments to facilitate solutions. The Intermediate Project Controls Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining a valid master production schedule (MPS) by working closely with shop scheduling and material handling, inventory control, purchasing, department Managers and Applications. The Intermediate Project Controls Specialist prepares weekly forecasted activity reports so departments can plan their resource allocation to meet all project deliverables

Required Skills & Experience

3-5+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft project
Ability to multitask multiple project schedules and dashboards
An understanding of common business practices relating to materials management, production control, logistics and procurement
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
